About the role…

We’re looking for our first ever Head of Growth at Synthesia. Using your extensive experience in optimising and maximising the user journey in scaling SaaS organisations, you will focus on how our Self-Service platform impacts revenue growth at Synthesia.

This is a super exciting role—not only because we work with AI, but also because we are one of the few AI companies with real user scale. We have thousands of new users every day, providing plenty of data to analyse and test hypotheses.

We’d love to hear from you if you have extensive experience in user journey improvements, activation, pricing, and packaging. This is a high-impact and collaborative role where you will partner closely across our Sales, Product and Website teams, whilst reporting to our VP Marketing.

We’d prefer someone based near one of our hubs in London, Copenhagen, or NYC for this role, but we are open to remote candidates within appropriate geographies and timezones.

What you will be doing…

  • Ultimately, you will own the user journey and conversion from freemium to paid.
  • Optimise all user flows to drive adoption, retention, and expansion—both in product and email (sign-up, drop out, cancellation, expansion, monthly to annual, etc.).
  • Own how we price and package our Self-Service product, the competitive landscape, and how any changes will affect revenue.
  • Optimise the flow from self-serve to sales-led (identifying triggers and serving the sales team) and partner with Revenue Leaders (Including our CRO) when necessary.

We’d love to hear from you if…

  • You’ve previously run pricing and packaging projects that have produced tangible revenue growth.
  • You have extensive experience with user journey improvements that have produced meaningful activation uplifts.
  • You’re first-principles thinker and not just implementing a known playbook.
  • You are somewhat technical; you are familiar with the basics of HTML and JavaScript and are able to assess engineering needs and confidently communicate with engineers.
  • You are data-driven and not afraid to dig into data yourself or write an SQL statement or two.
