The HR Operations Project Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of human resources processes within the organization. This position involves a combination of solution design, process management, and HR cross-functional support. The HR Operations Project Specialist collaborates with various internal stakeholders to implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and systems. A heavy focus will be on supporting and improving the HR Shared Service framework by reviewing forms, documents, processes, and systems to increase efficiency and improve employee experience. Additionally, the incumbent plays a pivotal role in project management, HR reporting and analysis (in partnership with the Diversified Analytics team), and workforce planning activities.


  • HR Service Implementation. Design and implement solutions which assist in delivering high-quality HR services to associates, managers, and HR business partners. Execute HR operations processes and projects associated with talent acquisition, onboarding, employee data management, HR surveys, compliance, offboarding. etc.
  • Project & Process Management: Coordinate management of multiple small to medium sized process improvement initiatives and HR projects across the People organization, ensuring timely and successful implementation. Utilize project management skills to help all HR team members know project roles, expectations, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • HR Services Documentation: Collaborate with various stakeholders to build out and maintain all HR policies and procedures on company SharePoint site. Partner with Innovation and Technology teams to explore AI solutions to enhance offerings and improve self-service experience for associates and managers.
  • Process Improvement and Standardization: Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and standardization within HR shared service delivery. Streamline and enhance HR processes, procedures, and workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction. Solicit feedback from stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
  • HR Data and Analytics: Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improving HR delivery and programs. Develop and provide HR metrics, analytics, and reports to support decision-making and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Workforce Planning: Using HR and other data, support organization by providing information to analyze talent needs and identify skills gaps. Partner with HR COEs to implement plans to address gaps and ensure workforce resources are in place to continually meet business needs.
  • Compliance and Process Improvement: Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and EEOC guidelines. Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations processes.


  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • 4 – 5 years’ HR Operations experience, including change and project management, is required.
  • Experience managing and reporting data within a Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Data analysis and solutioning skills desired. metrics.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), recruitment tools, SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills required.
  • Innovative mind-set with knowledge and an interest in machine learning.
  • Ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with internal teams, external partners, candidates, associates and managers. Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively. Strong organizational skills to manage workload and meet timelines and deliverables. Strong attention to detail.

Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay details below range from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market.
