Summary & Objectives
The Human Resources Specialist will support our company in various human resources activities such as recruitment, team member relations, training & development, benefits administration, and talent management. The HR Specialist will play a key role in contributing to our success as we continue to grow and expand our services. The HR Specialist will assist in promoting our company values and shaping a positive culture, aligning with our belief in investing in our team members and developing their talents.
Essential Functions
- Recruitment and selection process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support in developing, engaging, motivating, and preserving human capital.
- Help maintain HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Contribute to nurturing a positive working environment for all team members.
- Administration of a performance appraisal system.
- Support the maintenance of compensation and benefits programs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor training programs.
- Address team member demands, grievances, or other issues and support team member relations.
- Help in ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an HR generalist or specialist, with a strong focus on recruitment and administration.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Basic knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Good communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the company.
- Familiarity with labor law and HR best practices in California is a plus.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
