Job Description:

Project Planning, Tracking, & Reporting
• Contribute into the initial coding estimates.
• Support the team in project planning activities and in evaluating risks.
• Communicate regularly with the team about development changes, scheduling, and status.

Design
• Understand assigned detailed (LLD) design and do code development

Qualifications:

Work Experience:

  • 5+ Years of experience in analyzing and understanding application storyboards andor use cases and develop functional application modules
  • Come up with approaches for a given problem statement
  • Design, build and maintain efficient and reusable code
  • Fix identified defects or observations that are potential impacts or risks for the functionality
  • Ensure best possible performance and quality of the application using project and standard best practices
  • Help maintain code quality using project quality standard (or using tools)
  • Debug and Troubleshoot problems in existing code
  • Develop unit test cases and perform unit testing
  • Work on creating database tables, stored procedures, functions etc
  • Coordinate with AGILE team
  • Maintain updates to Jira with the latest changes and appropriate status.

Skills:

  • Proficient in the following
    • Java/J2EE
    • Springboot & Spring framework / Play framework
    • Java unit testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito
    • RESTful and SOAP based API
    • Microservices & cloud working experience
    • Strong understanding of OOPS concepts
    • Software design patterns & System design
    • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with
    • Various common Java libraries
    • Team & stakeholder management experience of few years
    • Experience with CI/CD and GIT, Jenkins or similar
    • Working on Linux environment
    • SQL and NoSQL

  • Nice to have
    • Good experience with Agile process and planning, JIRA, Confluence etc
    • Experience with automated unit testing and integration testing
    • Understanding of XML and JSON
    • Familiarity with Continuous Integration
    • Understanding of SSO, MFA

Knowledge:

  • Tools, Concepts and Methodologies of IT Engineering Functions.
  • Technology: Windows, SVN, GIT, Oracle, Unix, SQL

Education and Experience:

Education: B.Tech Computers/MCA.
