Since its foundation in 2006, Visma Connect has been responsible for major projects in the field of secure and reliable data exchange, such as the Berichtenbox, the Digipoort, managing information flows at the Tax and Customs Administration, KIK-V in healthcare, the Maritime Single Window, and managing the SBR system and the Dutch Taxonomy. Currently we are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with extensive experience in Spring and Spring Boot frameworks to join our dynamic team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications using Java, Spring and Spring Boot. You will work collaboratively with our team to develop innovative solutions that meet our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations.

WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

• Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Work closely with the team to analyze requirements, develop technical specifications, and create design documents.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and bug fixing to ensure the quality of the codebase.
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and to solve complex problems.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Java, Spring and Spring Boot to continuously improve the software development process.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Proficient in software development best practices, including Agile methodologies, code reviews, and testing.
• Experience with database development and integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good verbal and written English skills.

Financial expectations

• Gross salary 2800-6300 EUR. 💸 Keep in mind that we are open to discuss your salary based on your competence and experience.
