The System Administration team is a central pillar of our growth strategy, and we are looking for a Junior Linux System Administrator to help meet the growing needs of our customers and platform.
You’ll work closely with both customers, other System Administrators, and the other teams at Vultr to identify and address problems as they arise and to anticipate problems before they manifest.
What to expect:
- Answering customer questions about our products and services.
- Responding to alerts and issues with our platform
- Identifying problems and causes
- Coordinating with other departments to resolve problems
- Resolving customer complaints
- Maintaining our customer platform
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with Linux Commandline
- Basic knowledge of enterprise networking
- The ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Most importantly, an ability to learn and desire to grow
Compensation
$60,000 – $70,000
This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
