About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Korean Learning Materials Creator, Translator, and Customer Support professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will create high-quality Korean language learning materials, translate our company’s website and software into Korean, and provide customer support. This position requires native fluency in Korean, professional working fluency in English, and a deep understanding of Korean grammar structures. You will also need to quickly become an expert in the Migaku platform, including its software, learning methodologies, and material formats. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for language learning and a strong background in Korean translation and education.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creation of Korean Language Learning Materials:

• Review lessons written in English about the Korean language for accuracy

• Write Korean example sentences

• Review English translations of the example sentences you have written

2. Translation of Company Website and Software (once learning materials are complete):

• Translate the company’s website and software into Korean

• Adapt translations of articles written in English to optimize for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices when necessary

3. Customer Support (once Migaku platform translation is complete and released):

• Provide customer support for software issues, platform questions, and address other user inquiries

• Continue to refine and expand Korean learning materials

Requirements:

• Native fluency in Korean

• Professional working fluency in English

• A strong understanding of Korean grammar structure and a keen ability to explain those structures

• At least 1 year of translation experience with a portfolio of work examples

• At least 1 year of experience teaching Korean or writing Korean learning materials

• A strong desire and ability to quickly understand the entire Migaku platform’s software, learning methodologies, and learning material structure and format

• Located in an East Asian time zone

Preferred Qualifications:

• A keen interest in language learning
