L&D Program Manager, Service Center

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Learning & Development Program Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs that align with our company’s strategic objectives and meet the evolving needs of our Service Center and Centers of Excellence teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning & Development Expertise:

  • Successfully apply the principles and methods of adult learning theory (e.g., learner-centeredness, active learning, self-directed learning, and feedback) to create engaging, hands-on, and impactful learning experiences and materials.
  • Working with the Service Center, and other stakeholders, use data-driven decision making to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and other measures, and make improvements, as necessary.

Leveraging your Service Center and Benefits Administration experience:

  • Collaborate with Service Center, L&D and other leaders to identify training needs and develop, design & deliver targeted hands-on learning solutions and training programs to support business and client priorities.
  • Integrate best practices from your adult learning theory, service center and benefits background into training strategy and materials.

Project Management Skills:

  • Manage all aspects of the training development lifecycle, from needs assessment to program evaluation.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Utilize internal and external resources to maximize the impact and efficiency of training programs.
  • Enthusiasm for process documentation, continuous improvement, and data:
  • Document current processes and consistently utilize feedback and performance data to drive improvements to process, materials, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation for training programs, including creation of a centrally managed repository for all Service Center training processes, materials, and L&D communications.

People Management:

  • You will provide direct coaching and development to a small team of dedicated L&D specialists.
  • You may also collaborate with and provide guidance to team members from other departments involved in training initiatives (e.g., service center, product).

Professional Background:

Successful in this role, requires you have the following skills and competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience (Required).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Learning & Development role (Required).
  • Proven experience successfully applying the principles and methods of adult learning theory (e.g., learner-centeredness, active learning, self-directed learning, and feedback) to create engaging, hands-on, and impactful learning experiences (Required).
  • Proficient user of L&D Toolset / applications including various learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, e-learning platforms, and evaluation tools (e.g., Litmos LMS, LinkedIn Learning, Articulate/Rise360, Kahoot! etc.) (Required).
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint (e.g., create/edit documents, presentations, spreadsheets, emails, and online collaboration tool) (Required).
  • Proven experience designing and implementing successful training programs for high-volume Service Center including Service Center technologies (InContact, Expert KM, Co-Pilot, etc.) (Highly Preferred).
  • A solid knowledge of the benefits administration industry and Annual Enrollment (e.g., including the common products and services offered) and the ability to design and deliver effective training programs to meet the learning needs of the benefits service center staff. (Highly Preferred).
  • Strong Project Management skills, including ability to plan, execute, monitor, and evaluate multiple training initiatives within the given scope, budget, and timeline; and communicate effectively with various internal and external partners (Highly Preferred).
  • Experience using data to drive decision-making in the learning and development field (Highly Preferred).
  • Project Management Certification (Preferred).

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $75,000-85,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
