A highly motivated and creative individual with a strong understanding of digital media content programming. You excel at curating and optimizing content to engage diverse audiences, particularly sports fans, and are adept at using data to inform your strategies. With a keen eye for detail and a collaborative mindset, you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can contribute to the success of a leading sports media company.

You will:

  • Develop and execute content programming strategies across Better Collective properties, with a primary focus on the Action Network website and app.

  • Curate and manage content schedules to ensure a consistent and engaging user experience.

  • Collaborate closely with editorial teams to align content programming with audience interests and company goals.

  • Optimize content distribution through various channels, maximizing reach and engagement.

  • Create compelling and timely alert and newsletter content that captures audience attention and drives engagement.

  • Review and edit headlines, newsletters, and alerts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and appeal.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and editorial meetings, contributing to the overall content strategy.

  • Monitor audience feedback and engagement metrics to inform and adjust content programming decisions.

  • Manage multiple content programming projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful execution.

  • Ensure all content meets high editorial standards and aligns with Better Collective’s brand and guidelines.

Requirements

You have…

  • A strong background in content strategy, particularly within digital media.

  • A deep understanding of audience behavior and preferences, with the ability to tailor content to enhance engagement and loyalty.

  • Excellent collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Proficiency in using content management systems and digital media technologies.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed content programming decisions.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring content quality and consistency.

  • A proactive and innovative mindset, always seeking new ways to engage and excite the audience.

  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
