Job Description

Please note:  This role requires a flexible schedule, which may include working out of regular working hours. The position also necessitates the ability to travel occasionally to Zagreb. We are initially looking for a commitment of at least 4 working hours per day. After five months, there will be an option for a buy-out, allowing the candidate to transition into a full-time position directly with the client. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for both flexibility and the potential for a more permanent engagement.

About you:

  • Experience in working as a Business Analyst (3+) for a tech company;
  • Advanced level of written and spoken English;
  • Native in Ukrainian language;
  • Advanced Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, understand business needs deeply, and provide strategic insights.
  • Leadership and Influence: Capable of leading project teams, making strategic decisions, and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Advanced Problem Solving: Proficient in identifying, diagnosing, and creatively solving complex problems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of IT systems and software, including databases, CRMs, and project management tools.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Change Management: Experience in managing change and transition within an organization or for clients, including guiding businesses through transformation.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

Nice to have:

  • Reading API documentation (swagger);
  • Experience in working with EdTech domain;

You will work with:

  • Strategic Project Ownership: Take full ownership of projects from inception to completion, demonstrating a high level of independence in managing timelines, resources, and project deliverables. Ensure that all project phases align with business objectives and client expectations.
  • Solution Development and Innovation: Actively identify and solve complex business challenges by designing innovative solutions that leverage the latest in technology and industry trends. Provide expert advice and strategic direction to ensure solutions meet both current and future needs.
  • Advanced Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and cross-functional teams. Use a consultative approach to understand stakeholder needs and influence decision-making processes without direct authority.
  • Comprehensive Requirements Analysis: Independently conduct and manage the gathering, validation, and documentation of business requirements. Ensure that these are fully understood and correctly implemented by technical teams through effective and clear communication.
  • Proactive Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and propose practical and timely solutions. Manage and mitigate risks to avoid impacts on project scope, timeline, and quality.
  • Agile Leadership and Adaptability: Lead Agile scrum teams, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement and Learning: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team by encouraging innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
  • Client Relationship and Satisfaction Management: Serve as the primary liaison between the business and its clients, ensuring open lines of communication and high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
