Title: People Analyst

Department: People

Salary Range: 75k-85k USD

Location: Remote

Description: WES is seeking an People Analyst to collect, manage, and analyze information across the People function to help streamline processes and make data-driven decisions. This role will report into and work primarily with the Director of OD, but partner and support other People Team leaders in their initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and compiling HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
  • Overseeing the HR technology roadmap, identifying needs and making recommendations around platforms, tooling, and bolt-ons that align with future-facing departmental objectives.
  • Running people surveys, including engagement and DEIB, by building and delivering the surveys in the platform, synthesizing the data and results, creating and delivering dashboards and reports, and presenting findings to partners, clients, and Senior Leadership.
  • Analyzing data and statistics for trends and patterns in the HR portfolio including workforce planning, organizational development, compensation practices, predictive employee behaviors, DEIBJ programming, learning & developing evaluations, recruitment processes, and benefits offerings.
  • Identifying and recommending reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
  • Develop predictive analytics to forecast HR needs and trends
  • Managing, updating, and delivering on the HR Dashboard.
  • Serving as administrator for the HRIS.
  • Based on metrics and analysis, making recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
  • Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Various project work as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualitative and quantitative research skills
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably UKG
  • Aptitude with data/statistical software
  • Technical skills in gathering, organizing, analyzing and visualizing data
  • Understanding of forecasting, and staffing models and methodologies
  • Knowledge of workforce management tools
  • Superior technical presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
  • Strong analytical & diagnostic skills with an aptitude and passion for process improvement
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with senior management.
