Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled POS (Point-of-Service) Collections Operations Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the collections operations within a hospital setting, focusing on point-of-service collections. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Epic systems and a proven track record of improving collection processes and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage POS collections operations across multiple hospital settings.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize point-of-service collections and reduce outstanding balances.
  • Collaborate with hospital revenue cycle teams to identify and address process gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize Epic systems to analyze data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights for improving collections performance.
  • Provide training and guidance to hospital staff on best practices for POS collections.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital leadership, revenue cycle teams, and patients.
  • Regularly report on collections performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Participate in regular travel to client sites (10-15%) to provide on-site support and training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in POS collections operations within a hospital setting.
  • Proficiency in Epic systems is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to travel (10-15%) and work remotely, adhering to PST hours.
