Job Description

Are you looking to be in a workplace where colleagues inspire one another? Are you interested in competitive and impactful benefits? Do you prefer flexible work arrangements?

At Relativity, we make software to help users organize data, discover the truth, and act on it. Our e-discovery platform is used by more than 13,000 organizations around the world to manage large volumes of data and quickly identify key issues during litigation, internal investigations, and compliance projects.

The Product Management team is looking for a platform Product Manager of Enrichment Compute to lead the roadmap and success of Relativity’s Enrichment Worker Compute and Enrichment Shared Compute teams. These teams own the technology stack leveraged by Enrichment products to dynamically scale compute for enrichment jobs, such as RelativityOne processing and RelativityOne imaging jobs, in addition to the “ARM for Processing” application, which allows users to archive, restore, and migrate processing data.

Your Role In Action

  • Drive short- and long-term roadmap of the Shared Compute and Worker Compute teams by working closely with internal app teams, enablement teams, sales teams and other customer-focused teams.
  • Work with Enrichment product managers and stakeholders to deeply understand Enrichment platform limitations and opportunities that could drive customer and business value.
  • Ensure customers have successful experiences with Relativity products that leverage Enrichment workers and with the “ARM for Processing” application.
  • Lead internal conversations on compute cost for Enrichment products and make prioritization decisions that
  • help us optimize cost versus scale.
  • Become an expert in the Enrichment compute platform such that you can participate in technical conversations on platform technology that drive tradeoff decisions.
  • A successful candidate must be energized by building deep customer empathy, collaborating with design, development, discovering opportunities through data analysis and inquiry with customers, creating and communication progress through leading indicators, developing strong fluency in cloud architecture and adjacent technologies, and navigating ambiguity given the technology’s pace of change.

Customer Centric:

  • Connect with internal Enrichment app teams in the Processing and Imaging product line to gain a deep understanding of the customers they serve, the solutions they offer, and the problems their users have.
  • Ensure we are solving the most pressing problems for internal app teams. The ability to prioritize tasks based on their impact and outcomes is crucial to be successful in this role.
  • Provide product and workflows recommendations grounded in both customer empathy and customer data.
  • Communicate user needs clearly to engineering teams and other internal stakeholders to drive alignment internally on product vision.

Product Leadership

  • Own the product roadmap and backlog for your products. Listen to different internal experts to understand the impact, but in the end, decide the features that your team should build.
  • Track and reports on key product metrics that are relevant to your domain and expected outcomes.
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to create quarterly objectives and key results that demonstrate commitment to business priorities.
  • Act as a leader, facilitating communication across internal stakeholders and effectively communicate ‘why’ and gain buy-in from the team and Leadership. Be responsible for clarifying and resolving conflicts around your product vision.

Technical Leadership

  • Work closely with your Engineering counterparts to ensure that the team delivers a product that meets our scalability, reliability, usability, observability, efficiency and performance standards.
  • Be well versed in technical aspects of cloud platform architecture with deeper technical understanding to communicate with development team members and make informed decisions about the product development.
  • Leverage your technical acumen to understand the technical challenges faced by your teams and the root cause of incidents. With that, propose and prioritize effective solutions.
  • Engage in deep technical discussions with Engineering Managers and Technical Architects to understand the implications that future work could have on your product and customers

Product Implementation

  • Break down large projects into iterative releases. Create and share product implementation plans with measurable results for each milestone.
  • Anticipate the need to create alignment with cross-functional teams to solve problems together.
  • Help the team to translate validated designs and analysis into story cards with acceptance criteria.
  • Develop external and internal facing go-to-market content including product documentation and release notes.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in product management building custom software
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Design or comparable work experience.
  • Familiarity and comfort with data, including ability to use data to analyze and monitor product health, set goals, back up assumptions, and track success.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile
  • Excited and curious about highly complex problems, systems, and interactions
  • A team player with proven ability to validate solutions and deliver features from inception to delivery
  • You focus on the details, but focus your strategy on the big picture objectives
  • Excellent communicator and presenter, both written and verbal

Compensation

  • Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.
  • This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus target of 10%, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between $115,000 and $173,000.
  • The final salary offered will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
