Fella Health helps middle-aged men live 10 years longer.

We are the telemedicine clinic for bigger guys, worldwide. We use medical weight loss treatment to solve our fellas’ most pressing healthcare need, then remain a fella’s core healthcare provider for the rest of their life – focused on men’s health, longevity, mental health, and primary care.

We will have served 1 million fellas by the end of 2026, and 10 million fellas by the end of 2028.

Our mission is to solve male obesity worldwide, by accelerating the take-up of GLP-1s in middle-aged men. From this, we’ll become the world’s leading men’s health brand.

We’ve grown >100x since Sept 2022 (currently growing >30% MoM) and are strongly cashflow positive. We have expanded our state coverage to >95% of US population, have started to expand our clinical protocol beyond weight (e.g. testosterone), and are eyeing up international expansion.

We’re still a young startup and are moving quickly. We have a long way to go. This is still Day 1.

The opportunity as Recruiter

Fella is building a world-class team.

As our first Recruiter at Fella Health, you’ll work side-by-side with our CEO (Richie) in sourcing, engaging, and hiring the top 1% of talent.

You’ll start by sourcing candidates through job platforms, role-specific communities, general startup communities, recruiting agencies and outbound. You’ll then align closely with our Leads to ensure you fully understand the role requirements and can effectively filter all initial applications, progressing only those candidates who are the most promising and best fit our company culture.

This dramatically scales our Leads’ time and directly impacts the company’s ability to grow. If you nail this role, you’ll lead the build out of our recruiting team.

This is a full-time, fully remote role, and you’ll work in the US timezone of your choice.

You’ll report directly to me, Richie (our CEO) You’ll also work closely with our Leads: Medical Support Lead (Arvee Sese), Head of Growth (Dave Lane), Head of Engineering (Gzim Helshani), Sales Lead (Jordan Pellikan) to align on their hiring needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full Life-Cycle Recruitment:
    • Talent Sourcing: Use various channels, including job boards, communities, recruiting agencies, social media, and networking, to attract qualified candidates who may or may not be actively searching for a new job.
    • Application Filtering: Filter all inbound applications, ensuring only promising candidates are progressed for further evaluation.
    • Initial Candidate Screening: You’ll conduct initial interviews with filtered candidates to assess their fit for the role and company culture before progressing them to our Leads.
    • New Hire Onboarding: Ensure all new hires are smoothly onboarded with the company.
  • Advance the Talent Acquisition Function:
    • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and progress in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Continuous Improvement: Lay the foundations of an efficient recruitment process by noting which platforms, agencies, and groups are worth utilizing.

Need to have

  • Language: you are fluent in spoken & written English.
  • Experience: you have 2+ years of relevant experience hiring for multiple roles with varying company functions and seniority.
  • Inquisitive: you make an effort to thoroughly understand each role and its requirements by continuously aligning with our team leads. If any outsider were to ask about the role and its requirements, you’d be able to give them a perfect picture of it.
  • Flexibility: you can manage recruitment volume throughout the annual cycle, swiftly ramping up for key searches or peak seasons.
  • Organization: you have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while moving seamlessly between multiple searches and client groups.
  • Mindset: you calmly handle uncertainty and rapidly changing situations.

  • Technical Proficiency: you can navigate applicant tracking systems with ease.
  • Learning: you’re an autodidact with impressive speed and resourcefulness. You regularly teach yourself the skills you need from scratch.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation: $20k/yr-$30k/yr total comp inc equity (inclusive of 13th month)
