Forum Ventures is the leading early-stage fund, accelerator, and venture studio for B2B SaaS startups across North America. We provide funding, high-touch programming, 1:1 support, investor introductions, and an active SaaS community to support founders through every step of their building journey.

Forum’s AI Studio brings together ambitious people, brilliant ideas, and capital to build the best B2B SaaS businesses in the world, from 0 to 1. We provide founders with access to an experienced operating team, from business design, product design, and engineering to fundraising support. Our model is designed to help Founders move faster, develop better insights, and build companies that have a higher success rate than startups built in any other way.

As a Recruitment Lead for our venture studio, you’ll have the unique opportunity to build founding teams, from Founder/CEO to initial hires, and also have the opportunity to work on internal roles at Forum Ventures. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who cares deeply about attracting, finding, and enabling bold and ambitious people to build the best B2B SaaS companies. If you’ve spent time in executive search, recruited in early-stage startups, and have technical recruitment experience, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Recruiting world-class Founders to build with our venture studio

  • Collaborating with founders and studio team members to understand recruiting needs, crafting compelling job postings, and developing effective sourcing strategies.

  • Managing and streamlining inbound applications to ensure a smooth candidate experience.

  • Proactively sourcing top talent through various channels, including direct outreach and networking, to build strong candidate pipelines.

  • Conducting initial screenings to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and values.

  • Promoting Forum Ventures and Studio Companies’ brand across online platforms to attract high-caliber talent.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our ATS, ensuring seamless tracking and reporting.

  • Creating and managing a robust talent pipeline to anticipate and meet future hiring needs.

  • Continuously iterate on recruitment processes to minimize bias, fostering an inclusive and equitable hiring environment.

About You:

  • Track record in full-cycle recruitment, preferably a combination of agency, executive search, and growing SaaS startups.

  • Demonstrated success in technical recruiting.

  • A knack for relationship building and excellent communication skills. You’ll be the face of Forum for Candidates, Founders/CEOs, and other players in the ecosystem.

  • You can operate well without the whole picture.

  • A demonstrated passion for startups with an empathy for the founder journey.

  • Ability to commute to our Toronto office for in-person collaborative days once a month.

Bonus Points:

  • Relationships in Venture Capital and tech, and/or a willingness to network and to build up your personal brand in the industry.

What we offer:

  • A salary range of $100,000 – $110,000 CAD

  • Carried interest in the fund.
