Job Description

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Regional Director of Sales to join our Europe team. In this strategic role, you will educate and nurture the market as a thought leader, develop new market opportunities, drive adoption, and collaborate on global initiatives with the rest of the sales team and Product, Marketing, bringing the company’s growth to the next level. While executing ambitious sales plans, you will establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve regional revenue targets.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Identify and explore new market opportunities, driving business development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in a sales leadership role in Europe, preferably within the cross-border payments industry
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to articulate clearly and confidently with both technical and business audiences.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with sound organisational skills and execution.
  • Experience in managing relationships with major partners and clients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven, high-growth environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
  • Authorisation to work in Europe is mandatory. Travel within Europe will be required.
