Job Description

About your tasks:

  • Play an active role in developing new feature for our Prices and Offers Product team.
  • Support the team in maintaining important micro-services serving 11million+ customers.
  • Extend and create new backend services across various domains that interact with internal and external applications.
  • Create and consume API endpoints based on defined contracts with colleagues.
  • Event-driven development with RabbitMQ to ensure scalable, asynchronous communication between services.
  • Work on new features designed for high-performance and scalability
  • Embrace an open feedback culture and engage in open communication within the team.

Requirements

About you:

  • Understand that seniority is defined by the ability to make a genuine impact, be proactive, and take ownership.
  • Have experience building services at scale with Node.js and TypeScript and demonstrate proficiency with REST APIs and a solid understanding of HTTP.
  • Enjoy designing and building new features from scratch, and you own your code end-to-end, including building, testing, and deployment.
  • Willingness to work with different technologies, such as Java Services as the Team owns a crucial service developed in Java.
  • Possess a DevOps mindset, including use of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline setup.
