Maze is hiring a creative, dynamic Brand Designer to join our Marketing team and help evolve our brand and establish the foundations to scale with the business. This role will work closely with partners across Product, Design, and our leadership team to build and scale the brand design function at Maze and execute design strategies that enhance our brand identity and drive engagement. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for what resonates in Enterprise, a strong understanding of branding principles, and the ability to create visually compelling graphics that elevate our brand.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Formalize Maze’s brand guidelines and visual systems, including layouts, typography, color palettes, and other visual elements
- Evolve Maze’s brand system to bring consistency and scale across all customer touch-points
- Evolve the Maze’s website to effectively communicate our value proposition and positioning
- Partner across Marketing to conceptualize and execute campaigns and assets that drive our go-to-market motion
- Design a wide range of marketing materials, including digital and print ads, social media graphics, website elements, email templates, presentations, and promotional items
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines
- Manage vendors and freelancers to scale brand design projects
- Creating engaging motion graphics or animations for brand promotion and storytelling
- Ability to simplify and translate complex product UI or flows into clear and effective assets
- Familiarity with working product design systems to build cohesion between the marketing and product experience
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of experience in brand design with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design, branding, and web experiences
- Amazing taste with the ability to clearly articulate the ‘why’ behind creative decisions
- Experience creating and maintaining a brand visual system
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and more
- Experience leading design projects, including collaborating with cross-functional teams and offering timely and relevant feedback to drive design projects forward
- Online portfolio that showcases project work, clearly outlining your role and contribution within each project
- Portfolio evidence creating motion graphics and animations
- Experience maintaining brand across channels and campaigns
- Strong communication skills and ability to present and articulate design concepts and ideas
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and manage cross-functionally projects
- Experience working and leading projects in a fully remote environment

We typically target the low – mid point of the salary range to allow room for growth within the role. Your salary is dependent upon many factors, including years of experience, expertise, etc. During your first interview, you can expect to have an open conversation with your recruiter regarding your compensation expectations.
