Job Summary:
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in delivering strategic analysis services to the proper stakeholders within REE. Servicing as a highly skilled Technical Salesforce Analyst, you will be an expert in your analysis, emphasizing business-improvements and project successes. You will guide stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and ensure efficiency gains by making actionable recommendations, topics can include business strategy, internal customer needs, processes, services, roadmaps, etc. This role requires a deep understanding of system analysis, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating business requirements into technical specifications and leading technical implementation efforts. This role will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that solutions meet business needs and technical standards.
What is expected in this role:
- Partnering with stakeholders and development teams to help elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and facilitate translation into technical requirements.
- This can include gathering and documenting detailed business requirements for Salesforce implementations and enhancements, conducting interviews and pre-scoping sessions to understand business processes and challenges.
- This can also include producing project analysis documentation by collaborating with developers, guiding testers during QA processes, and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement Salesforce enhancements that improve efficiency and overall business outcomes.
- This means you are supporting IT team members with implementation projects in collaboration with vendor partner teams and business stakeholders.
- This also means you are reviewing proposed implementation plan(s) and highlighting key implementation prerequisites while understanding business requirements and functional specifications and mapping them to technical activities.
- Designing solutions in collaboration with Salesforce developers and administrators to meet business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and usability.
- This means you are conducting comprehensive reviews of assigned business processes, spanning end-to-end analysis to pinpoint and mitigate operational, financial, and technological risks and actively seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency. Meaning you are conceptualizing and creating end-to-end design for business problems.
- Leading or supporting multiple projects, managing documentation, adjusting schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with internal customers and external vendors.
- This means you effectively communicate requirements to proper stakeholders within assigned projects, ensuring requirements are understood and approved by users, and align efforts to meet internal customer and business needs.
- This means you are managing internal customer and external vendor relationships, and staying updated on project results through effective communication processes and ensuring continuous alignment. Which can include conflict resolution, defect resolution, and documentation on all changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- This also means you are spearhead small to mid-size projects by handling more intricate projects tied to operational business functions impacting team members and providers at the market level.
- Ultimately, this means you are collaborating with stakeholders ensuring implementation of new projects or enhancements meet the long term needs, strategies, and goals of REE.
How success is measured in this role:
- Stakeholder Acceptance: Ensure requirements of business stakeholders are translated into technical action. Facilitate bi-directional understanding and confirm development output is aligned to business vision.
- “Story” Quality: Technical stories capture business requirements (measured via re-work to address topics) and are clearly understood by developers (measured via clarifications required).
- Documentation: All discovery sessions are codified and communicated. All requirements gathered are translated to stories and documented with the dev team (Jira).
Requirements
What you need in this role to be successful:
- You must have at least 3+ years of applicable software application as a Business Analyst or Business Analyst/Developer.
- This means you have technical competence over a wide range of technologies with emphasis on ‘business process’ enablers.
- This also means you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and design efficient technical solutions.
- This also means you have strong experience with documentation of business and systems requirements, assessment of inefficiencies, and efforts to increase adoption and customer satisfaction.
- Experience performing hands-on configuration and customization within Salesforce is preferred.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification is preferred.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including using tools like JIRA for tracking and managing technical projects.
- Solid understanding of Indices, fundamentals, analytical data, and returns level data is required for this role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, din data analysis tools, specifically SQL and Microsoft Excel.
- This means you should be adept at utilizing these tools for effective data analysis.
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with an eye for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective collaboration across various departments and levels of the organization with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical and vice versa.
- This includes the ability to navigate difficult interpersonal conversations and utilize multiple platforms for communication within departments and teams.
- This also includes the ability to delegate and mentor more junior team members.
- This also include having a track record of presenting data and project information to senior leadership.
- Experience working in a remote environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of VA disability ratings and claims preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience in start-up or early-stage environments with little or no defined infrastructure or processes.
- Track record of working in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving orientation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 3+ years of experience can substitute the education requirements.
