Job Description

Job Overview:

Collaborate with other team members and roles to implement and deliver data solutions including but not limited to data sources pipeline, data processing, reports, and data web APIs. As a data engineer, will be involved in defining and applying engineering standards and best practices as well as Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving production data
Issues.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement data services solutions (data ingestion, data processing, APIs, computations).

  • Implement and develop data quality control.

  • Business intelligence and report generation development.

  • Develop data set processes.

  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve production data integrity and performance issues.

  • Design data models.

  • Analyze complex business use cases.

  • Drive engineering best practices and standards.

  • Propose & develop new tools to speed up processes or fix repetitive problems.

  • Design and implementation of a full cycle of data services.

  • Ability to provide permanent solutions / improve the existing solutions.

  • Improve Documentation templates and Building Documentations.

  • Align architecture with business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • You possess at least a BS in Computer Science or related field.

  • You have a good command of the English language.

  • Technical background with 5 + years of relevant experience as a Data Engineering

  • You possess robust expertise in SQL development as well as in constructing reports and dashboards.

  • Good understanding of BI – Data warehouse DB Concepts

  • You have a structured approach to development (measuring, monitoring, and testing)

  • You possess a good understanding in programming and OOP concepts.

  • Previous experience with Bigdata – hive/Nifi/Impala/Spark.

  • You have experience in API concepts .

  • Previous experience with Telcom domain is plus.

  • Cloud Data Engineer, Data Analysis or any Cloud related experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:
