Job Description

  • Engagement: Contract, long-term
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, flexible schedule with core hours between 9 AM – 3 PM (CET)
  • Location: Remote, preference for candidates in CET or similar time zones
  • Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
  • Compensation: Competitive yearly rate, negotiable based on experience
  • Reports To: Senior Engineering Manager

    • Primary Framework: ReactJS
    • Languages and Markup: JavaScript, HTML, CSS (SASS), Bootstrap
    • API Integration: GraphQL, REST APIs
    • Version Control: Git
    • Performance Optimization Tools: Familiarity with tools for monitoring frontend performance
    • Preferred Knowledge: UX/UI principles, API Monitoring, Synthetic Monitoring, Real User Monitoring (RUM)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining our frontend applications that power Uptime.com’s platform. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our monitoring tools and visualize critical data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain high-quality, dynamic user interfaces using ReactJS.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create elegant and efficient data visualizations for reporting and analytics.

• Optimize frontend performance, focusing on fast load times and seamless interactions.

• Ensure smooth integration with our backend services using GraphQL and REST API

• Maintain code quality through testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development with a focus on ReactJS, HTML, SASS, and Bootstrap.

• Strong understanding of JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.

• Experience in building complex web applications and SPAs.

• Proven track record of optimizing web applications for performance and scalability.

• Familiarity with Git and other version control tools.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed team.

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of UX/UI principles and a passion for creating user-friendly designs.

• Familiarity with API Monitoring, Synthetic Monitoring, Real User Monitoring (RUM), and other performance monitoring tools.

• Experience working in a Product-Led Growth (PLG) environment is a plus.
