Our Lobby Engine uses advanced AI recommendation models to deliver highly personalized game suggestions directly on the main page. This ensures each player discovers the most relevant games.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be a key player in the development of our client-facing web application. You will work closely with our product, design, and machine learning teams to build and maintain a robust, user-friendly platform. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as experience in building scalable and secure applications from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain our client-facing web application.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and machine learning engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of both the front-end and back-end of the application.
  • Ensure the application is secure, scalable, and performant.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews to maintain code quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our tech stack remains current.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to automate deployments and ensure continuous integration and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • Front-End: Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, with experience using Next.js for building server-side rendered applications and static websites.
  • Back-End: Proficiency in server-side languages such as Node.js, Python. Proficiency in server-side technologies, like Next.js for building RESTful APIs. Experience with integrating with different third-party APIs.
  • Database: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, S3, etc).
  • Cloud: Experience with deployment on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Testing: Experience with automated testing frameworks and ensuring code quality through unit tests, integration tests, etc.
  • Security: Understanding and experience of implementing secure web applications according to security best practices, including authorization, managing roles and accesses to pages and data for organizations and individuals.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team, and lead technical discussions. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • English: At least an Upper – Intermediate level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with Data Visualization libraries like D3.js.
  • Experience with responsive design and building mobile-first applications.
  • Understanding of network protocols, DNS, subdomains, etc.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and data-driven applications.

Interview process:

  1. Recruiting Interview (45 min)
  2. Application Development Fundamentals (90 min). These questions test understanding of basics of programming and building web applications but are simple enough to code in about 100 lines. These are minimum-bar problems that candidates should be able to breeze through with minimal help and mistakes. They test whether the candidate can translate conceptual knowledge to code, which is a big part of the SWE’s job. (по большей части лайвкодинг интервью)
  3. Systems Design Interview (60 min). Systems Design interview should test the candidate’s ability to design end-to-end web application. Interviewer will ask an open-ended problem and expect the candidate to use their engineering knowledge to solve it, draw and communicate solution with it’s components.
  4. Cultural fit (60 min). General cultural fit/soft skills interview.
