As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be the accountable marketing leader on some of our most high-profile university partners, with much-loved education brands. You will be joining Keypath at an exciting time where we’re transforming how we do what we do – delivering the best outcomes for students, the university partners, and the business.
It is a hands-on leadership role where you will use your skills in integrated marketing, brand management, data analysis and customer insights to model best-practice strategic marketing working in partnership with university partners.
We follow agile marketing principles, and you will lead an agile squad of multi-disciplinary professionals – overseeing end-to-end delivery and optimisation of a portfolio of postgraduate programs, from awareness through to graduation. In collaboration with the business leaders, account management and strategy and insights teams, you are empowered to identify opportunities, recommend priorities, and then deliver to targets through your agile squad.
Using your excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, you will also work collaboratively across business departments and marketing functions including product, digital, CX, student admissions and student success, as well as be seen as the trusted marketing expert for the university partners.

Key responsibilities include:
- Championing the customer: Seeking and leveraging all insights (customer, competitor, market, and performance) to inform, to shape, co-create and optimise GTM strategies.
- Partnership marketing: Demonstrate ability to actively influence and build trust with our university partners through driving performance, insights sharing and delivering to targets.
- Visionary leadership: Setting a compelling vision to inspire and motivate your team.
- Performance obsessiveness: Acting as the accountable leader within their cross-functional team, to continually monitor and action portfolio performance to meet targets.
- Driving cross-functional alignment through leading and role modelling a performance discipline.
- Knowledge acquisition: Deeply immersing in Keypath’s business strategy, understanding OKRs, product portfolios, and levers for optimising outcomes.
- Fostering innovation: Cultivating a test-and-learn ethos for rapid learning and optimisation.
- Strategic planning: Co-create and optimise GTM strategies, in collaboration with the Strategy and Insights team and cross-functional team, to deliver an agreed GTM plan.
- People leadership: Oversee the role of ‘marketing owner’ for their agile marketing squad, including direct reports.
- Direction and prioritisation: Setting strategic direction and support prioritisation of agile marketing squad.
- GTM execution: Overseeing end-to-end delivery, optimisation, and reporting.
- Customer experience: Ensure the marketing squad is fully engaged and have visibility of the student journey for their partner.
- Budget management: Understanding and managing portfolio budgets and making investment decisions to maximise ROI.
- Continuous improvement: Facilitating the sharing of best practices and driving efficiency and effectiveness across business units.
- Strategic influence: Exerting influence and managing relationships with stakeholders and university partner teams.
- Business-wide problem solving: Taking leadership accountability to solve for broader business problems through sharing learnings and applying critical thinking to solving novel problems.

Education
- Relevant tertiary degree in business
Experience
- Proven experience in developing and executing strategic, integrated marketing campaigns that deliver commercial impact.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence across teams.
- Experience working in demand generation, lead acquisition, digital media, content marketing and/or direct marketing with a focus on performance, including performance tracking, reporting and drawing out actionable insights.
- Strong account service/stakeholder management skills and experience managing budgets
- Strong team leadership and mentoring skills.
- Experience in agile project management methodologies (desired, but not essential).
Technical/Further skills
- Strong analytical skills and experience in utilising data for reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and drawing out actionable insights.
- Able to develop creative/innovative solutions based on data insights.
- Experience in rapid testing, measurement, and scaling of innovative initiatives.
- Experience in facilitating group brainstorming sessions to unlock creativity and innovative thinking in the team.
- Strong prioritisation and time management skills.
- Strong project management skills (formal PM qualification not required).
Other requirements
- Interstate travel may be required on an infrequent basis.
Direct reports
This role has 2-3 Marketing Managers as direct reports.
