Job Description

Senior Product Analyst

The Data Science team helps Alma achieve its mission by leveraging data to inform business strategy and drive product innovations. As a Senior Product Analyst, you will apply your expertise in analytics and experimentation to improve Alma’s operational efficiency, create tools to empower providers, and make finding the right therapist more intuitive for clients. You will tackle challenging problems such as measuring the impact of care delivered through Alma and quantifying the supply/demand dynamics of the Alma platform. You will work closely with a cross functional team of product managers, software engineers, and designers to define and execute on the product roadmap.

What you’ll do:

  • Generate data-driven insights to inform product strategy and prioritization
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B testing experiments to validate product hypotheses
  • Apply statistical and causal inference techniques to draw trustworthy conclusions from data
  • Define metrics and create dashboards to measure product performance
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional partners to define the product roadmap and inform prioritization through opportunity sizing
  • Identify opportunities and initiate new data science projects that drive company OKRs
  • Communicate technical insights effectively to influence decision making
  • Champion a data-driven decision culture

Who you are:

  • You have a Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative field (e.g. data science, computer science, statistics, economics) or equivalent 2+ years in industry experience
  • You have 2-6 years of experience as a product analyst supporting user-facing product development.
  • You are an expert in SQL
  • You are proficient in either R or Python for data analysis
  • You have a deep understanding of statistics and can confidently apply statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing and regression to draw rigorous conclusions from data
  • You have experience designing and analyzing A/B testing experiments and guiding product decisions with experimental insights
  • You influence others to take action by communicating your analytical insights convincingly
  • You are results-driven and passionate about building great products, with a proven track record of taking projects from inception to launch

Salary Band: $145,000 – $170,000
