Our client is a fast growing Fintech and Business Consultancy company based in Romania and mostly working on the US Market which in order to strengthen their team have entrusted Recruiter4You with seeking a strong and talented Python Developer. The ideal candidate will be working remotely from Mon-Fri: 12:00 – 21:00 EEST but the company can be a bit flexible with the working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the development of our inaugural product from inception to completion utilizing Python and Django.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO, product owner, and testing team to design and build robust, scalable, and secure REST APIs for our software.
• Contribute to the decision-making process regarding implementation strategies and overall product design, allowing you to influence the final outcome.
• Enhance application performance to meet the needs of our current and future clientele, as we aim for excellence.
• Implement robust security measures to safeguard patient data against potential threats.
• Thrive in a small, agile team focused on productivity, minimizing unnecessary meetings and formalities.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in Python development, with substantial expertise in web frameworks such as Django (preferred), Flask, or FastAPI.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with SQL databases and object-relational mapping (ORM) systems.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous workers and task queues, particularly Celery.
• Proficiency in Git for version control.
• Proven success in enhancing API performance.
• Familiarity with security best practices in software development.
• Experience with Unix-based operating systems.
• Strong command of English, with excellent communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Django REST Framework.
• Understanding of AWS cloud services, including EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and ElastiCache.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI standards.
• Background in implementing security measures for web applications.
• Familiarity with Python unit testing frameworks.
• Experience fine-tuning AI models.
• Previous experience in a startup setting is a plus.
• Prefers working in an agile environment over traditional structured settings.
