What You’ll Be Doing: 

As an Honorlock Senior Sales Engineer, you will support Higher and Professional Education prospects and customers by:

  • Supporting Regional Directors and Customer Experience Managers in selling and renewing Honorlock’s products and services  
  • Partnering with customers to create and execute Implementation and Adoption Plans
  • Partnering with prospects to ensure Honorlock Pilots provide successful milestones to meet the prospect’s goals
  • Partner with RFP Manager to support RFP responses

What We Need:

  • Work with sales team members to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
  • Serve as the first level of contact for technical knowledge and resources for the sales team members.
  • Serve as the liaison between the prospect, sales, and customer success.
  • Manage functional resources to design and implement successful concept programs directly with prospects.
  • Leverage technical, operational, and sales/consulting expertise to support the sales opportunity and determine the best solution to maximize ROI.
  • Condense technical requests for enhancement into actionable product functionality requests
  • Assist sales in customer meetings to answer technical questions from decision-makers.
  • Work to document project updates appropriately within the CRM tool.
  • Assist with the writing of responses and ongoing updates specific to product enhancements for RFIs/RFPs.
  • Be an SME for Honorlock products, functionality, and technical integrations.
  • Assist with customer calls during normal US business hours, and outside of those hours during peak selling seasons
  • Assist with completing security, privacy, and technical documentation
  • Be comfortable speaking to customers with a wide range of technical backgrounds – knowing when to dive into more technical detail for certain people versus staying surface level for others
  • Assist with integrating, managing, and leading sandbox and technical testing environment for prospects What You Have:
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 5+ years experience within Sales Engineering or related role in a SAAS or educational technology environment preferred
    • Strong presentation skills via web conference or in person
    • Excellent time management, prioritization, and communication skills
    • Ability to create structure and design effective processes
    • Passion for technology
    • Self-motivated and resourceful

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite
    • Ability to travel nationally 35 to 40% of the time to meet with prospects and clients
