Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Web Developer for our Private Capital Markets team. We are building an extensive private asset valuation platform with a modern technology stack and need a savvy engineer for hands-on design and implementation. This is a high visibility project within the company and is moving at a fast pace. This is a fully remote role in continental North America with east coast hours. This role reports into our New York office.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Work with an experienced team to develop new features for an extensive web-based valuation platform, from conception to either internal or client-facing deployment.
  • Program new web user interfaces in TypeScript with React and Redux for data-centric applications in collaboration with domain experts; develop and test UI/UX features tailored to potential client needs.
  • Implement frontend logic and interface with backend developers to support authentication processes, data page loading, synchronization and efficient data transfer to backend.
  • Use secure techniques to maintain data confidentiality and integrity.

Essential traits:

  • Minimum 6 years of professional programming experience (UX Workflow and graphic design is a plus)
  • BS or MS in an applicable field
  • Commercial Single Page Application development experience
  • Ability to translate specifications into understandable visual representations (wireframes or POCs)
  • Hands-on, in-house engineering (product development) background, not IT or consulting
  • Demonstrated ability to program complex systems (through samples provided)
