Our client is looking for a Senior User Research Contractor to help the Risk, Support, & Disputes teams discover new ways to protect and build trust with members. This listing is for a 5-month contract

In this role, you can expect to:

• Conduct thoughtful research on company strategy, products, and services to help our growing base of members with their financial health
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders from Product Management, Design, Marketing, and Analytics to understand our members and unearth problems we should be focused on
• Develop mixed method research studies that include stakeholders in every step of the process from study concept to insight delivery
• Produce research artifacts that are human-readable and concise to inform what we’re learning about members
• Act as a champion for high-caliber user advocacy and champion our members first in all decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of user research experience for mobile consumer products
• Quickly and independently designed and executed research studies that have positively impacted both user needs and business metrics
• Brought along cross-functional stakeholders throughout your research process and ensured your research has impact
• Demonstrated excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A natural curiosity for people and what makes them tick
• Experience conducting various research methodologies such as survey writing and analysis, user interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, diary studies, etc.
• Experience working in a startup environment (high-growth startups a strong plus)
