About the role:
We value aligning small teams with customer use cases and giving the independence needed to quickly deliver impactful solutions.
We’re a cross-functional product team that designs, develops and maintains the solutions that keep the world moving. This can vary from helping our European customers remain compliant with the numerous EU regulations that govern their HGV driver’s activities, to helping our global customers reduce the amount of fuel they consume by coaching for better driver behavior.
Primarily operating across web and mobile, we collaborate closely with product managers, product designers and firmware engineers to build out our feature sets.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing Poland team to help us alongside other highly-skilled engineers and push ’s technical capabilities forward
This is a remote position open to candidates based in Poland. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

In this role, you will:
- Work with product managers, designers, firmware and infra engineers to architect, build, test and deliver full stack features across front-end, back-end and mobile. GoLang, GraphQL, Typescript, React and ReactNative are some of the components of our technology stack. Direct experience with these technologies is not required.
- Be responsible for maintaining the production systems that your team owns and provide operational support.
- Help build the culture of the team and make it an enjoyable place to work
- Solve problems that enable our product for our global customers

Minimum requirements for the role:
- 2+ years of professional experience building customer-facing applications
- Strong programming/coding fundamentals in a language such as Java, Python, or Golang
- Experience designing and architecting large, high-scale systems
- A focus on and desire to mentor fellow engineers
- An ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver upon project milestones with your team
- You speak English proficiently
An ideal candidate also has:
- Experience with a public cloud such as AWS
- Familiarity with multiple tiers, like React Frontends and Microservices
- Contributed heavily to driving significant value to their customers
- Curiosity about our customers, and is eager to improve their day-to-day experience
- Loves shipping features that are immediately used by our customers
- Seeks to iterate on new products based on customer feedback
- A Bachelors or higher in Computer Science or related discipline
