Role overview
Miter is hiring a fullstack engineer that will play a central role in defining the processes and technologies we’ll use to build applications and services for the next generation of contractors. As an early member of Miter’s team, you will also help shape Miter’s culture and working norms. This is a perfect role for engineers with a founder’s mindset.
Responsibilities
- Scope and lead new mission-critical features end-to-end
- Design and implement new processes and systems enhancing our entire engineering organization’s productivity
- Be involved and provide input in product and strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- 5+ years of work experience as a full stack engineer, ideally in a fast-growing technical SaaS company
Have a strong product/user orientation
- Have led large and complex technical products in the past
- Enjoy making decisions independently and under uncertainty
- Are equally comfortable designing frontend UIs and backend APIs
- Take a modular approach to building infrastructure and services

What we offer
Our openings span more than one career level. The salary band for this role is between $170,000 and $ 300,000 USD. The provided salary depends on many factors, such as work experience and transferable skills, business needs and impact, and market demands.
