Position : SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Work Hours : Anytime between 6AM to 6PM EST (40 hrs/5 days a week)

Holidays : TBD

Pay Range : USD 1200 – 2500 per month

Company Overview: Property Management Solutions Provider based in the US.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use the project management tool, Shortcut, to manage assigned work
  • Use Git and GitHub for version control
  • Use Docker/Lando for local development
  • Create new features and support existing features in multiple Symfony microservices
  • Provide recommendations for improvements to existing systems
  • Manage support requests received from clients
  • Communicate regularly with customers and team members
  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that meet clients’ needs in marketing and advertising
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Solve complex software problems and provide innovative solutions
  • Participate in code and design reviews
  • Ensure that software is continuously integrated, tested, and deployed
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in software engineering
  • Experience with marketing and advertising technologies
  • Knowledge of software development best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and PHP
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • DevOps experience, including Ansible
  • Experience with JavaScript/React
