Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an accomplished Software Architect with a deep understanding of financial systems and microservices architecture to lead the modernization of our technology landscape. Your expertise will be instrumental in transforming our existing monolithic application into a scalable and agile microservices architecture, empowering us to meet the evolving needs of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Review and Gap Analysis:
    • Thoroughly analyze our existing Microsoft-based architecture (SQL Server, IIS, ASP .NET, CRM Dynamics).
    • Conduct a comprehensive gap analysis between the current and target state, highlighting areas requiring attention.
    • Gain a deep understanding of our company’s vision, strategic goals, and target architecture.
    • Evaluate our in-house workflow systems and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Roadmap Development:
    • Develop a detailed and actionable roadmap for migrating our monolithic ASP application to a microservices architecture.
    • Define clear phases, milestones, and timelines for a seamless transition.
    • Ensure the roadmap aligns with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and the company’s strategic vision.
  • CRM Optimization:
    • Identify and implement quick wins to leverage the full potential of our CRM Dynamics system.
    • Drive efficiency gains, enhance user experience, and generate measurable business value.
  • Technical Leadership and Guidance:
    • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to our development team throughout the transformation process.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our architecture remains cutting-edge.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Extensive Experience:
    • A proven track record in software architecture and design, with a strong focus on financial systems.
    • Deep understanding of Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, IIS, ASP .NET, CRM Dynamics).
    • Hands-on experience in building and migrating applications to microservices architectures.
    • Familiarity with workflow systems and their seamless integration.
  • Consulting Acumen:
    • Ability to function as a trusted advisor and consultant, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and alignment across teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex architectural challenges.

    • A deep understanding of the KSA business environment and its regulatory landscape.
    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to evolving business needs.
    • TOGAF certification or knowledge is considered a significant advantage.
