Reporting to the Global Vice President MSP Channel, the Sr. Manager, MSP Channel Evangelist will use storytelling to engage people and companies. You’ll tell these stories to inspire change and growth, and to help 1Password’s security solutions develop and leave a lasting impression. The MSP Security Channel Evangelist/SE leader forms close relationships with buyers and users. They stand out in content marketing by being a known face and voice. They tell stories, share their views, and sway decisions. In this role you will help us create enthusiastic customer evangelists, influence product decisions through sharing customer insights, and advocate for 1Password and its solutions.

What we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in a cyber security advisory, SaaS practitioner role, or related in a technology/SaaS environment with 1-2 year managing people 
  • Demonstrated understanding of SMBs with a proven ability to articulate a products value proposition and tailor communications to varying audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain deep relationships with customers and partners 
  • Proven track record of using insights uncovered from customers to influence product decisions
  • Preferred: Experience with the cybersecurity industry

What you can expect:

  • Partner with Global Vice President MSP Channel to develop and implement a comprehensive global MSP team strategy aligned with 1Password’s overall business objectives
  • Help translate MSP strategy and objectives into product roadmap 
  • Advocate for 1Password and its solutions, spreading awareness and generating excitement among its customers, partners, and the broader SMB and MSP communities 
  • Act as the frontline point of contact for customer feedback. Foster honest, transparent, and authentic conversations with our customers, educating on challenges against their sophisticated adversaries and understanding their needs
  • Develop deep internal relationships with cross functional teams (e.g. Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) ensuring that customer feedback is shared with the business
  • Use insights from customers, partners, and market trends to influence the product roadmap, allowing for consistent improvement and adaptation to market needs
  • Assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage
  • Understand how the 1Password brand is perceived in the market, how it is differentiated, and understand the relationships with customers and partners
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and feed that knowledge back into the organization 
  • Hold weekly office hours to include MSP/MSSP and Partners, creating solution awareness, discussing roadmap items, and more
  • Represent 1Password at conferences/events, (e.g industry podcasts, panel discussions, industry webinars, etc.) 
  • Develop and provide internal and customer training, ensuring our partners and internal team are equipped to sell and demo 1Password solutions

USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $149,000 USD and $201,000 USD and is commission eligible. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password’s benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $143,000 CAD and $193,000 CAD and is commission eligible. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

At 1Password, we approach each individual’s compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.

We believe in the power of remote work, but we also recognize that some in-person connection with team members and customers is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, occasional travel for in-person engagement will be a part of this role. This may include but is not limited to bi-annual department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events will typically be held in varying locations across Canada and the USA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
