Job Description
Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Flexible (10 hours/week, available between 8AM-8PM PT)
Compensation: $112 – $120 per hour
About The Role:
Berry Street Health is seeking experienced, licensed Physicians (MD/DO) to join our team in providing high-quality, virtual weight-loss consultations. We are currently looking for candidates holding at least three active state medical licenses, preferably including California. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual intake evaluations (15-30 minutes) with new adult patients (18+)
- Perform a holistic assessment of patient history, review labs, and prescribe medications as appropriate
- Engage with a diverse and inclusive patient base, providing evidence-based care to all populations
- Monitor patient requests and inquiries through our portal, with a response time of 48 hours
- Respond asynchronously to patient questions and provide ongoing care
- Handle prescription refills as needed
Requirements
- Active medical licenses in at least 3 states (preferably including California)
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week
- Availability during the hours of 8AM – 8PM PT, any day of the week
- A commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
