The Production Support Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and stability of critical production systems. This role involves monitoring, Troubleshooting, resolving incidents and Automation. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the development, infrastructure and business teams to provide timely resolution to issues, implement fixes, and enhance system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Incident Management

• Root cause analysis, performance tuning and validation of releases.

• Manage service restoration/recovery of applications.

• Drive production incidents bridge calls for P1 and high priority P2 incidents.

• To participate on a shift plan between 12:00 AM to 08:00 AM IST time – Tuesday to Saturday

• Respond to incidents within SLA guidelines.

• Monitor emails for failures as necessary.

• Ability to troubleshooting, perform log file analysis, perform SQL queries etc.

• Run production jobs/processes/batches as necessary.

• Take ownership when issues arise.

• Appropriately turnover ongoing issues to others as necessary.

• Communicate to business owners when necessary.

• Attend meetings with business.

• Troubleshoot incidents with users.

• Perform problem diagnosis and problem resolution in one or more technologies within the technical area expertise.

• Recommend solutions for permanent fixes to improve application stability and resiliency.

• Review and approve production related changes upon risk assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 3-7 years of experience in a Global IT Service Desk.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Must have experience with UNIX/LINUX, shell scripting, python, SQL server, Oracle, ETL, Data warehouse.
• Knowledge of incident and change management processes, preferably with tool Service Now.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 2-7 years of experience in Production Support or equivalent.
• Must experience with UNIX/LINUX, shell scripting, SQL server, Oracle, ETL, Data warehouse support.
• Must have experience with UNIX/LINUX, shell scripting, python, SQL server, Oracle, ETL, Data warehouse.
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of incident and change management processes, preferably with tool Service Now.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and working experience of Best Practice concept ITIL/ITSM, certification will be add-on.

• Good to have knowledge or experience in: SQL, Informatica Powercenter, Unix/Linux scripting
