Job Location:

You can work remotely from Germany, Austria, UK or Romania combined with a willingness to travel (around 10%)

About the Job Role:

SAP Fioneer will use its agility to build a modern, cloud focused FSI specific portfolio. The company will offer solutions to financial service providers tailored to address their needs and that cover their operative processes end-to-end. This will help banks, insurers, and other corporations to lower the need for home-grown solutions to enable new business models achieving rapid innovation, low IT cost and getting to a simplified operating model.

In your role as a Technical Service Manager, you will be required to have the following knowledge and perform the following tasks:

  • Have knowledge in the following SAP areas: SAP Solution manager, SAP BASIS ABAP system administration, performance/workload analysis, HANA database administration
  • Service reporting and continious improvement of services
  • Support service owners and engineers with CI/CD of services and performance , providing customer feedback
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA architecture, operation
  • Support migration and deployment activities (brownfield projects and greenfield deployments)
  • Lead and plan greenfield product deployment on SAP cloud
  • Coordinate and plan Disaster Recovery tests, plan reviews and maintenance
  • Liaise with security and internal product teams
  • Supplier management activities and monitoring of our cloud partners
  • SAP system maintenance such as upgrades, system copies and kernel updates
  • Providing technical advisory to our customers for our SAP cloud solutions and services
  • Lead, guide and coach junior team members
  • General SAP system administration and tuning
  • Drive RCA of issues with SAP Fioneer and partner technical teams ensuring efficient RCA process and reporting
  • SAP on Cloud experience preferred in a hyperscaler environment (AWS, Azure and/or GCP) preferred
  • Work in a global DevOps environment

Requirements

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar, required.
  • Good knowledge in SAP BASIS or technology

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 7 + years of experience in SAP system administration, hands on consulting, lead or Technical Service Management role
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced business environment. Flexibility and adaptability are must haves to be successful in this role

PRODUCT EXPERIENCE

  • Core experience- SAP BASIS, SAP HANA, SAP Solution Manager, SAP on IaaS
  • Preferrered experience: SAP Business Technology Platform adminstration, SAP Role build

SOFT SKILLS

  • Fluent English speaker, writer and reader
  • Good analytical and fast learning skills
  • Able to work across teams and regions
  • Good communicator
  • Good skills in problem analysis
  • Calm and steady, should be able to handle customers in Sev 1, Sev 2 situations and de-escalate in area of expertise
