Overview:
As a Technology Business Development Manager specializing in Public Sector Consulting, your role is instrumental in driving the growth and success of our organization’s technology-focused consulting services within the public sector. You will be responsible for identifying technology opportunities, building strategic relationships, and positioning our technological solutions to address the complex needs of government entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Solution Identification:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends within the public sector.
Identify opportunities where technology solutions can enhance government operations, improve efficiency, and address specific challenges.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in government organizations, understanding their technology needs and pain points.
Collaborate with clients to identify areas for technology integration and innovation.
Business Development:
Lead the identification and pursuit of technology-related business opportunities within the public sector.
Develop and execute strategies for expanding our footprint in technology consulting services for government clients.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and propose customized technology solutions.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with internal technical teams to align business development efforts with our technological capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Government Procurement Expertise:
Possess a deep understanding of government procurement processes, compliance requirements, and budgetary considerations.
Navigate procurement channels to position our technology solutions for successful contract awards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or relevant certifications are advantageous.
Proven experience in business development within the public sector, with a focus on technology solutions.
In-depth knowledge of government technology procurement processes and compliance requirements.
Strong understanding of technology trends, especially those relevant to the public sector.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Results-driven with a commitment to meeting and exceeding business development targets.
