Hello👋I am Tim, CEO at Kayzen, and I am now looking for a Trading Team Lead to join our global team 🙌 In this role, you will lead the team of Traders to improve campaign performance and scale and offer clients hands-off approach freeing their internal resources.

Built on the three key pillars of performance, transparency and control, Kayzen is a DSP which enables leading app developers, agencies, media buyers and D2C brands to run programmatic user acquisition, retargeting, and branding campaigns in self-serve or managed service mode. With an unprecedented scale of >160bn daily ad requests from 2bn+ unique users worldwide, we serve more than 500M ads per day to 180 countries. Kayzen is accessible through our APIs or user interface.

The Team You will work with a carefully selected, diverse and globally distributed team from customer success, engineering, data science, design, marketing, product and more. We are highly motivated and aligned in our quest to disrupt the multi-billion dollar mobile ad-tech industry.

The Role As our Trading Team Lead, you will report directly to our CEO. Your primary focus will be to own  and drive the revenue and growth of the Campaign Management Team  (currently 4 team members), setting ambitious and challenging goals and helping the team members to reach their full potential. You bring to the table industry experience and best practices in programmatic campaign management and  ensure that our clients benefit from best in class budget management and optimization. .

Since I am based in Berlin and other key product and customer success team members are located mostly across EMEA, India and Argentina, we are open to a remote setup of this position. For optimal overlap with customers’ time zones and internal teams your main working location should preferably be close to the CET time zone.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard and train team members on the platform and the end-to-end understanding of creating and executing winning campaign strategies.
  • Set and communicate clear goals, motivate and support the team to achieve KPIs.
  • Measure accomplishments, hold team accountable, and give useful feedback.
  • Support career-pathing and maintain strong performance of the team.
  • Combine data analysis and client feedback to create optimisation strategies and provide solutions to complex campaigns.
  • Be the leader in the best practices of using the Kayzen DSP and offer insights on how to improve campaign effectiveness through the platform’s functionality. 
  • A/B testing
  • Optimisation techniques
  • Constantly testing new approaches and hypotheses
  • Build the Trading Desk knowledge base, including creating training collateral and internal resources for campaign management through Kayzen platform. 
  • Work closely with the CSM team to develop and execute onboarding plans for managed customers. Develop the campaign strategy (strategic level -> tactical level -> operational level) and align it with the CSM and your team for execution.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of our product roadmap, work with the Product team to identify solutions that help meet clients’ needs. 
  • Communicate effectively with other company stakeholders, by solving business challenges together and identifying opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of team leadership experience in the mobile app-advertising industry.
  • 4+ years experience of programmatic ad buying and handling clients.
  • Excellent data analysis and visualization skills.
  • Solid understanding of campaign management and campaign optimization.
  • Detail-oriented and process driven with a structured problem-solving attitude and accountability.
  • Great work ethics,results orientation and high level of initiative and assertiveness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
