Role Overview :

In this Video Content Editor role you will be responsible for producing captivating visual narratives for various purposes across marketing, product and customer experience! You’ll have the opportunity to develop a curation process and platform, optimizing the use of existing and future video material. If you’re a technology enthusiast, always keeping on top of emerging industry trends, who is excited by varied subject matter and thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Implement a video content curation system and platform, ensuring proper rights management and usage compliance.
  • Catalog and revitalize old video content, identifying opportunities for content repurposing and adaptation.
  • Identify synergies between stakeholder requests to optimise and develop an efficient pipeline of video content.
  • Partner with teams to develop production processes for ‘how-to’ and product videos, testimonials and social media content.
  • Produce compelling content to support stakeholders’ needs and Jimdo’s strategic objectives.
  • Manage a variety of stakeholder requests efficiently, prioritizing tasks accordingly.

What you bring to the table:

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Available to work full time or 4 days a week
  • Videographer/editor experience with an agency or part of an inhouse team.
  • Deep knowledge and proficiency in technical editing skills, and a clear eye for detail.
  • Broad understanding of editing trends both in traditional online advertising as well as tutorials, testimonials and various types of long-form content..
  • Experience in setting up simple video shootings and online interviews
  • Familiarity with visual language on social platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
  • Proven track record of adapting content to fit emerging trends and platforms.
