They were scared that they might lose their job, get demoted, subject to gossip and shaming. [<a href=\"#sources\">26<\/a>]<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>21.4%<\/strong> said that they did not think reporting would solve their problem, they feared that nobody would believe them due to the harasser&#8217;s reputation.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>18.6%<\/strong> thought it was not a big deal to have reported.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>11.7%<\/strong> have already seen that the past reports were ill-treated, so they remain silent.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>13.1%<\/strong> were not sure if it was their place to report the issue.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of all the people surveyed,<strong> 27.74%<\/strong> confirmed their<strong> employer does not<\/strong> want them to report harassment.
