Contract Writer (Grants)

• →Write compelling, persuasive, and compliant grant proposals aligned with funding requirements and criteria.
  
  
• →Develop budgets, timelines, and other supporting documents for grant submissions.
  
  
• →Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to support research, ideation, and drafting, with the ability to critically edit and refine outputs.
  
  

• Manage the grant application process, including coordinating with clients to gather necessary information.
  
  
• Track and report on the status of assigned grant applications to ensure deadlines are met.
  
  
• Provide post-submission follow-up, including responding to funders' inquiries as needed.
  
  

• Ensure all grant proposals are thoroughly documented and meet funders’ guidelines.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of all assigned grant submissions.
  
  

• Communicate effectively with clients throughout the grant application process.
  
  
• Provide regular updates on application status and next steps.
  
  

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (STEM, Business, English, or related).
  
  
• 2+ years of grant writing experience (minimum); 5+ years preferred for senior-level applicants.
  
  
• Proven track record of securing grants (please list examples in your application).
  
  
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex scientific/technological concepts.
  
  
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  
  
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and compelling narratives.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
  
• Experience with or understanding of startups or scale-ups is a plus.
  
  
• Familiarity with grants in areas such as med tech, agriculture, AI, or software development is beneficial.
