About Us
1to1 Rehab is a nationally accredited, client‑focused therapy service provider recognized for excellence in Speech‑Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Nutritional Services. We support clients across homes, long‑term care facilities, and community settings throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
We are intentional about who we partner with. This role is not about filling a caseload — it’s about finding the right clinician fit. Our Speech‑Language Pathologists value independence, flexibility, and high‑quality adult rehabilitation, while still having access to strong clinical and administrative support.
You’ll practice under the umbrella of a well‑established, accredited organization, while maintaining autonomy in your day‑to‑day community‑based work.
Caseload Overview
We are currently recruiting for a part-time Speech‑Language Pathologist to support an adult community caseload funded through Ontario Health at Home. Services are delivered in clients’ homes, long‑term care or retirement homes, and approved community settings.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Accept referrals that align with your availability, geography, and clinical interests
- Build a caseload at a pace that works for you
- Provide services primarily focused on communication and swallowing in adult and older‑adult populations
Why Speech‑Language Pathologists Choose 1to1 Rehab
Our independent contractor model is intentionally designed for SLPs who want true flexibility without isolation.
- Control over caseload and schedule — accept or decline referrals based on fit and capacity
- Flexible scheduling that supports work–life balance, family commitments, or other clinical work
- Adult‑focused clinical support and mentorship, including consultation support for complex cases
- Clear clinical escalation pathways and risk support — you’re not on your own when complexity arises
- Strong administrative support, including scheduling, billing, and documentation assistance
- Mobile‑friendly documentation systems, significantly reducing after‑hours paperwork
- A sense of community and connection, even while working independently in the community
Many clinicians tell us they value the independence of contracting — but stay with 1to1 because independent doesn’t mean isolated here.

- Providing functional, practical intervention strategies that support safety, independence, and participation at home
- Educating and coaching clients, families, and caregivers to support carryover of strategies into daily routines
- Monitoring progress, adjusting interventions as needed, and determining readiness for discharge or follow‑up
- Collaborating with clients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care
- Maintaining timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with 1to1 Rehab and Ontario Health at Home requirements
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
- Registration in good standing with CASLPO

- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Professional liability insurance
- Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last year)
