Floor Technician (Weekly Position)

Pay: $17–$20 per hour (based on experience and job type)
Location: Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas

We’re seeking an experienced Floor Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone skilled in specialty floor care who’s looking for flexible, project-based work that typically takes place on weekends or during evening hours.

Responsibilities

Perform strip and wax, top scrub and recoat, and carpet cleaning services
Run drivable floor machine
Operate a variety of equipment, including buffers, burnishers, extractors, and auto scrubbers
Ensure floors are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and appearance
Follow all safety protocols and properly maintain equipment and supplies

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of floor care experience (strip & wax, carpet cleaning, etc.)
Ability to operate and maintain floor machines and related tools
Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Roanoke area
Availability for as-needed evening and weekend work
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

Compensation

Hourly rate: $17–$20 per hour (based on experience and type of job)
Weekly work (weekends/evenings primarily)
