Senior Auditor

Responsibilities
~1 min read• Own and manage a portfolio of audits across all areas of the Co-op
• Develop a deep understanding of what colleagues do, the processes they operate and the culture they work in, identifying any potential gaps or areas of risk
• Challenge and influence partners across the business, making sure colleagues put the right actions in place to fix any issues
• Create insightful reports, making sure they’re clear and concise so that senior leaders can focus on what matters most
• Drive the delivery of work to a high standard and within planned timescales, managing and coaching colleagues where necessary
• Get involved in other ad-hoc assurance work, and continually look for ways of improving audit processes
• Leverage developments in audit technology, data analytics and automation to continuously improve our methodology

• Excellent project and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• A drive to own audits from end to end
• The ability to interpret complex data
• Experience of using data analytics to enhance audit testing
