Key Responsibilities
- Assist Chief Nursing Officer in the administrative duties to align with organisational goals and direction, in terms of service planning and talent development, and input in the formation of policies of the clinical service
- Plan, monitor and evaluate nursing standard and practice to comply with international standards and statutory requirements for the delivery of evidence-based patient care services in nursing units and services
- Manage operational activities of the clinical units, ensure smooth operations of the units and improve of standards of care so as to provide holistic patient centred care
- Develop business plans and manage budgets for operation of clinical units
- Implement and evaluate the recruitment, deployment and retention strategies for staff
- Maintain quality assurance in the delivery of patient care of the clinical units
- Perform on-call duties as required
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time
Job Requirements
- Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare discipline and a Master's degree or above in Leadership or related management studies
- Holder of a valid Registered Nurse Practising Certificate issued by The Nursing Council of Hong Kong
- At least 15 years post-registration experience in healthcare services, of which 7 years should be in managerial positions in multi-specialty clinical unit
- Proficient in project management and quality improvement processes
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Excellent leadership and strategic planning skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office applications
Compensation and Employment Terms
We provide a unique employment experience for people seeking careers in hospital and healthcare industry; and offer competitive remuneration packages to the successful candidates. Appointment will be made on a 3-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
