Custodial Worker

Under general supervision, performs a variety of janitorial and custodial duties which are related to the general appearance and cleanliness of the interior of Exchange facilities, using industrial type powered equipment and ladders/scaffolds. Actively communicates/promotes the benefits of the Military Star Credit Card to customers in order to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty

Education: Elementary school. Creditable job-related experience maybe substituted for the education requirement on a 9 months for 9 months basis.


If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting. INTERMITTENT POSITION. MAY WORK UP TO 34 HOURS PER WEEK. PRIMARY SCHEDULE WILL BE SUN 1115-1715 MON 0800-1400 TUES OFF WED 1530-2030 THURS 0900-1400 FRI 1530-2030 SAT. OFF . WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS ARE A MUST TO WORK UNLESS REQUESTED OFF AHEAD OF TIME. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AROUND CHEMICALS CLEANERS AND ABLE TO STAND FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME AND PUSH NUMEROUS CARTS IN FROM THE OUTSIDE DURING ANY KIND OF WEATHER. YOU MUST CLEAN THE BATHROOMS IN THE BUILDING NUMEROUS TIMES A DAY TO MAINTAIN SANITATION AMONG OTHER TASKS ASSIGNED. MILITARY SPOUSES/RETIREES/VETERANS HAVE HIRING PREFERENCE.
