Materials Handler III

"APPLICANTS/ASSOCIATES TENTATIVELY SELECTED FOR A TDP WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT TO URINALYSIS TO SCREEN FOR ILLEGAL DRUG USE PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT/SELECTION."


Under minimum supervision at a warehouse management system (WMS) distribution center, performs a variety of skilled warehousing duties in either receiving, storage, order selection or shipping. Uses a turret truck or other type of lift trucks as required. Performs repetitive tasks such as put away and let down of merchandise and properly accounts for the items. Assists in the development and training of other associates on the use of the technical equipment.

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent. Creditable job-related experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a 9 months for 9 months basis. Experience: One year progressively responsible general experience, plus a minimum of one year of specialized experience in receiving, storing or shipping merchandise and processing documents in a mechanized distribution center. Operation of materials handling equipment or motor vehicles is subject to prescribed licensing requirements.


If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting. HOURS: MONDAY -FRIDAY 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM OVERTIME HOURS : 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Performs a variety of warehouse functions including heavy lifting and other related duties.
