MTR VEH OPR (SHUTTLE)

Under designated supervision, operates a motor vehicle tractor-trailer combination, or a warehouse tractor float combination, for the purpose of shuttling merchandise between warehouses within the warehousing complex.

Completion of high school or equivalent. Creditable job-related experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a 9 months for 9 months basis. One year progressively responsible general work experience plus 1 year of specialized driving experience on a tractor trailer type vehicles. Successful completion of tractor trailer driving course at a recognized and accredited truck driving school may be substituted for 6 months of the specialized experience. Must be able to operate a standard shift tractor. Must have an MHE operators license and a valid Class C driver's license issued by the state where in employed and/or resides for type of vehicle to be operated. Previous driving record to include all traffic violations and accidents in the last 7 years must be submitted with job application. Must pass ADR road test and DOT physical fitness test. If required, must be able to obtain government Motor Vehicle Operator's Identification Card SF46.
