School Meal Program Menu Planne

Responsible for planning and evaluating menus to meet regulatory guidelines and ensure high nutritional quality. Monitors menu performance, student acceptance, and regulatory compliance. Supports internal reviews, financial management, and quality control initiatives to achieve operational goals and maintain compliance with all applicable standards.

Bachelor's degree in dietetics, food and nutrition, food service management, nutrition education, institutional management, or related science.
OR
Completion of a coordinated undergraduate program, internship, or other clinical component approved by AND (formerly ADA) for dietitians or nutritionists, and one (1) year of experience.
OR
Professional registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

Plans and evaluates menus to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and high nutritional quality. Uses approved nutrition software to analyze recipes and menus, modifying offerings to meet special dietary needs.

Monitors menu quality, student acceptance, and regulatory compliance. Prepares required reports and provides training and guidance to support effective School Meal Program operations.

Supports internal reviews, financial management, and quality control initiatives to meet operational goals.

Performs other duties as assigned.
