Schedule Details/Additional Information:

  • Full time, 40-hour position
  • Requires availability for 4, 8, & 12 hour day and night shifts
  • Normal Day shift - 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Normal Night shift - 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.
  • The Lead may be required to work a mix of Day and Night shifts. The Lead schedule may incorporate overlapping shifts with another teammate to provide ample patient coverage
  • All Inpatient Intervention Specialists may be required to work a rotation of weekend shifts
  • The Intervention Specialist Lead may be scheduled for shift gaps or call offs to ensure ongoing patient coverage.

$22.90 - $34.35

The Lead supports leadership by providing onsite guidance and support to the team responsible for inpatient care for individuals who have experienced recent trauma. This role assists with on-call schedules, fosters collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, coordinates hospital and trauma clinic schedules, ensures data quality, monitors productivity, and fulfills other key responsibilities under the direction of the leadership team.

  • Availability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Reliable, punctual, and open to learning. 
  • Familiarity with and experience working in the designated service area. 
  • Adaptability to evolving hospital expectations to meet site needs and ensure quality patient care. 
  • Passion for and dedication to serving the community. 
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and rapport-building skills. 
  • Empathy-driven, service-oriented attitude. 
  • Ability to engage in meaningful conversations, motivate patients, and communicate effectively with diverse populations, including seniors. 
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted; for heavier lifts, assistance from at least one other team member will be required.

High School Diploma or GED. 

Associate’s Degree 

N/A

Minimum of three years' experience in social services.  

Three or more years of experience in social services. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations and maintain professionalism. 
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving job responsibilities. 

  • Previous supervisory experience. 
  • Experience working with trauma-affected populations. 
  • Bilingual
